Meet Dr. Owoicho E. Ijiga, the Founder of Ajumi Networks
Dr. Owoicho E. Ijiga (Member, IEEE) is the CEO and Founder of Ajumi Networks, a New York State-based limited liability company specializing in telecommunications and software engineering services. He holds a B.Eng. in Electrical/Electronic Engineering from the Federal University of Agriculture, Makurdi, Nigeria (2012), another B.Eng. (Hons) degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of Pretoria, South Africa (2015), an M.Sc. in Electrical and Information Engineering from the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg (2017), and a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from the University of Pretoria (2021). In 2023, he further earned an MBA from the University of California, Riverside, with a dual concentration in Operations and Supply Chain Management and Information Systems Management. From December 2023 to April 2025, he served as the Growth Head and Vice President of Operations and Strategy at Fiberspark Inc., a New York-based fiber optic internet service provider headquartered in Ithaca. His research interests include: Fibre Optic Engineering, Channel Estimation for Filter Bank Multicarrier Systems, the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), Artificial Intelligence, and the Optimization of Quadcopter Uncrewed Avehicle (UAV) Systems.
